I read a couple of papers about surface reconstruction using computational geometry (delaunay triangulations), many of them recommended a library called
CGAL (Computational Geometry Algorithms Library), so I got it. I must say that the library is very powerful, it saves you tons of work. You will find a lot of useful algorithms like triangulations, voronoi diagrams, mesh algorithms, search structures and a lot more, see the website for a better description.
